The forensic verdict
You suspected ezcooldown.com was the source. I dug into it. The verdict is unlikely. See the ezcooldown probe ring for the full investigation. Short version: 8 of the 92 spam domains also point to ezcooldown.com, but ezcooldown's been receiving them since 10 months before your wave started. Both sites are victims of the same ambient PBN, not buyer and target.
The Amazon "buy theirs instead" review is a separate attack class and is worth filing a TOS report on regardless. Screenshot of the review + the reviewer's profile is on the outstanding-asks list.
What you do NOT do
- Don't write to the spam sites asking for removal. They won't respond. Disavow file does the same job in one upload.
- Don't pay any "link removal service". They use the same disavow file you already have.
- Don't blame ezcooldown publicly. The evidence doesn't support it and the framing distracts from the real fix.
